Foot Reflexology Massage

Method

In Foot Reflexology each body structure has a counterpart on the foot, a reflex zone. For example, the reflex zone of the head and neck organs are in the area of the toes, the chest and abdominal organs are in the mid foot and the pelvic organs are in the area of the heel. By pressing and massaging on a reflex zone on the foot, every part of the body, every organ can be treated via the foot.

Approach

During a Foot Reflexology the client lies on their back and their bare feet are massaged with or without oil using pressure, stroking and stretching techniques. Imbalances in the body can be found and treated before they manifest themselves physically and psychologically. The whole foot is treated. The client's concerns determine which zones receive special attention.

Effect

Foot Reflexology stimulates circulation, calms, strengthens, loosens and can harmonize the whole body.
